Mindfulness encompasses so many positive elements of living, I almost made it one of the 7 Pillars.

Mindfulness encompasses thoughtfulness, being responsible and respectful, being genuine and spontaneous, and focusing on the now.

I won’t pretend I can prescribe better ways to understand or apply mindfulness than Buddhism’s deep insights but I can say this.

Practice being mindful. Do so by slowing down time, immersing yourself in whatever activity or interaction you are partaking, consider all dimensions and elements in your approach with others, be conscious of how you affect others, give your full attention to the task at hand.

Your experience of life will naturally become richer and more meaningful. And you will become a solid rock in the virulent stream of life.
